Terms and conditions
Welcome to Vanya Studio, operated by VR Vanya Pte. Ltd. (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By making a booking, entering or using Vanya Studio, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. BOOKINGS & STUDIO USE
All bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed upon successful payment or confirmation by Vanya Studio.
Your booking provides private use of the studio only for the date, time and duration booked.
Guests may enter the studio only from the booked start time and must leave by the booked end time.
Arriving late does not extend your booking. Your booking will still end at the original scheduled time.
Extensions are subject to availability and must be approved and paid for before the original booking ends.
The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that all guests comply with these Terms & Conditions.
The number of guests must not exceed the number declared during booking or the studio's permitted maximum capacity.
2. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING
Any request to cancel or reschedule should be made at least 2 hours before the booking start time.
Rescheduling is subject to availability.
Failure to attend a confirmed booking (“no-show”) does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund or replacement booking.
Vanya Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a booking where necessary due to safety issues, maintenance, emergencies or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where we cancel a booking and cannot provide a suitable alternative, the amount paid for the affected booking will be refunded.
3. PRICING & PAYMENT
Prices are displayed at the time of booking and may vary depending on the day, duration, number of guests, promotions or other booking options.
Online bookings must be paid through the available online payment method to be confirmed.
Customers wishing to pay via PayNow may contact Vanya Studio through WhatsApp to arrange their booking.
A booking is not confirmed until the required payment has been received and confirmation has been issued.
Promotional codes and discounts must be applied before payment and cannot normally be applied retrospectively.
Any additional charges arising from additional guests, extended booking time, excessive cleaning, damage or other chargeable items must be paid when requested.
4. STUDIO RULES & CLEANLINESS
Guests must treat the studio, furniture, equipment, games and amenities with reasonable care.
Before leaving, guests must dispose of their rubbish, wipe up spills and return furniture, games and other items to their appropriate places.
Normal use does not attract a cleaning charge. However, excessive cleaning, stains, excessive rubbish or unreasonable mess may result in a cleaning charge of up to S$200, depending on the cleaning required.
Guests may bring their own food and beverages, but must clean any spills and dispose of food waste before leaving.
Smoking, vaping, illegal substances and unlawful activities are strictly prohibited.
Guests must keep noise at a reasonable level and must not cause nuisance or disturbance to neighbouring residents, businesses or common areas.
Decorations or items must not be attached to walls, furniture or fixtures in a manner that may cause damage unless prior approval has been obtained.
Guests must not tamper with Wi-Fi equipment, electrical installations, access systems or other studio equipment.
5. DAMAGE & RESPONSIBILITY
The person making the booking is responsible for any unreasonable damage caused to the studio, furniture, fixtures, equipment or other property by themselves or their guests during the booking.
Any damage, breakage or malfunction should be reported to Vanya Studio as soon as possible.
Where damage is caused through misuse, negligence or intentional conduct, Vanya Studio may seek reimbursement for the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.
Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings. Vanya Studio is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
6. ACCESS & SECURITY
Any key, access code or other access method provided for a booking is intended solely for that booking and must not be shared with persons who are not part of the booking.
Where a physical key is provided, it must be returned to the designated location immediately after the booking.
Lost or unreturned keys may result in the reasonable cost of replacement or necessary security measures being charged to the person who made the booking.
Guests must ensure that the studio is properly secured when leaving.
7. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Vanya Studio may immediately terminate a booking where guests engage in illegal activity, violence, harassment, threatening behaviour, deliberate property damage, excessive noise, smoking/vaping or prohibited substance use, or other conduct that creates a safety risk or serious disturbance.
Where a booking is terminated because of a serious breach of these Terms & Conditions, the customer may not be entitled to a refund.
8. PERSONAL BELONGINGS & LIABILITY
Guests are responsible for their own belongings and for using the studio and its facilities appropriately. To the extent permitted by Singapore law, Vanya Studio and VR Vanya Pte. Ltd. will not be responsible for loss or damage arising from a guest's misuse of the premises or failure to follow these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
9. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute arising from the use of Vanya Studio or these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
